Tổ chức Người Mỹ gốc Việt (VAO) là một tổ chức phi lợi nhuận nhằm mục đích thúc đẩy lợi ích văn hóa, giáo dục và xã hội của cộng đồng người Mỹ gốc Việt tại Hoa Kỳ. VAO được thành lập vào năm 1975 bởi một nhóm người tị nạn Việt Nam muốn bảo tồn di sản của họ và giúp đỡ những người đồng hương của họ thích nghi với cuộc sống mới ở Mỹ. VAO tổ chức nhiều sự kiện và hoạt động khác nhau trong suốt cả năm, chẳng hạn như lễ hội văn hóa, lớp học ngôn ngữ, chương trình học bổng và các dự án phục vụ cộng đồng. VAO cũng ủng hộ quyền lợi và phúc lợi của người Mỹ gốc Việt và hỗ trợ các hoạt động nhân đạo tại Việt Nam. VAO dành cho bất kỳ ai chia sẻ tầm nhìn và giá trị của mình, bất kể nguồn gốc dân tộc hay quốc tịch của họ. VAO chào đón các thành viên và tình nguyện viên mới muốn đóng góp cho sứ mệnh và mục tiêu của mình.
The Vietnamese American Organization (VAO) is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the cultural, educational, and social interests of the Vietnamese American community in the United States. The VAO was founded in 1975 by a group of Vietnamese refugees who wanted to preserve their heritage and help their fellow countrymen adjust to their new life in America. The VAO organizes various events and activities throughout the year, such as cultural festivals, language classes, scholarship programs, and community service projects. The VAO also advocates for the rights and welfare of Vietnamese Americans and supports humanitarian causes in Vietnam. The VAO is open to anyone who shares its vision and values, regardless of their ethnic background or nationality.
