Hội Khmer-Việt Nam tại Campuchia

Hội Khmer-Việt Nam tại Campuchia là tổ chức đại diện và hỗ trợ cộng đồng người Việt sinh sống tại Campuchia. Theo trang web của mình, hiệp hội nhằm mục đích cung cấp thông tin kinh tế, văn hóa và giáo dục và cơ hội trao đổi cho các thành viên. Đồng thời, phối hợp với chính quyền Campuchia và các tổ chức khác để bảo vệ quyền và lợi ích hợp pháp của người Việt Nam tại Campuchia.

Hiệp hội được thành lập vào năm 2016 và cho đến nay đã tổ chức ba đại hội. Gần đây nhất là ngày 9/4/2021, bầu Ban chấp hành mới gồm 85 thành viên nhiệm kỳ 2021-2026. Ông Châu Văn Chi, người từng là Chủ tịch Hiệp hội nhiệm kỳ trước, được bầu lại làm Chủ tịch Hiệp hội nhiệm kỳ mới. Hiệp hội cũng đã thành lập một số chi nhánh ở các tỉnh, thành phố khác nhau của Campuchia.

Hiệp hội đã đóng vai trò tích cực trong việc hỗ trợ cộng đồng người Việt vượt qua khó khăn, cải thiện điều kiện sống, đặc biệt trong thời kỳ đại dịch Covid-19. Hiệp hội đã phối hợp với Đại sứ quán Việt Nam và các cơ quan khác phân phát hàng cứu trợ, vắc xin cho người dân Việt Nam tại các vùng bị ảnh hưởng. Nó cũng khuyến khích các thành viên học hỏi, nâng cao kỹ năng, thay đổi nghề nghiệp và đóng góp cho sự phát triển xã hội của Campuchia.

Hội cũng đã phát huy bản sắc văn hóa và lòng yêu nước của người Việt Nam tại Campuchia. Nó đã tổ chức nhiều hoạt động khác nhau để kỷ niệm các ngày lễ quốc gia và các nhân vật lịch sử của Việt Nam, như Chủ tịch Hồ Chí Minh. Nó cũng góp phần thúc đẩy tình hữu nghị và hợp tác giữa Việt Nam và Campuchia.

The Khmer-Vietnamese Association in Cambodia is an organization that represents and supports the Vietnamese community living in Cambodia. According to its website, the association aims to provide economic, cultural and educational information and exchange opportunities for its members. It also works with the Cambodian authorities and other organizations to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the Vietnamese people in Cambodia.

The association was established in 2016 and has held three congresses so far. The latest one was on April 9, 2021, when it elected a new executive board with 85 members for the term 2021-2026. Mr. Chau Van Chi, who was the chairman of the association in the previous term, was re-elected as the chairman for the new term. The association has also set up several branches in different provinces and cities of Cambodia.

The association has played an active role in helping the Vietnamese community overcome difficulties and improve their living conditions, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The association has coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy and other agencies to distribute relief supplies and vaccines to the Vietnamese people in affected areas. It has also encouraged its members to learn, upgrade their skills, change their occupations and contribute to the social development of Cambodia.

The association has also promoted the cultural identity and patriotism of the Vietnamese people in Cambodia. It has organized various activities to commemorate the national holidays and historical figures of Vietnam, such as President Ho Chi Minh. It has also fostered the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.
