Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH là một doanh nghiệp liên bang của Đức đã hoạt động tại Việt Nam hơn 25 năm. GIZ hỗ trợ chính phủ và người dân Việt Nam trong ba lĩnh vực ưu tiên: môi trường và tài nguyên, năng lượng và đào tạo nghề.
Trong lĩnh vực môi trường và tài nguyên thiên nhiên, GIZ hỗ trợ chính quyền Việt Nam quản lý các khu bảo tồn và rừng bền vững, bao gồm chứng nhận gỗ và thanh toán các dịch vụ môi trường liên quan đến rừng. GIZ cũng hỗ trợ khu vực Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu bằng cách xây dựng các công trình chắn sóng dọc bờ biển và thực hiện các biện pháp khác để chống xói mòn và lũ lụt. Trong lĩnh vực năng lượng, GIZ thúc đẩy năng lượng tái tạo và hiệu quả sử dụng năng lượng tại Việt Nam bằng cách đề xuất các biện pháp xóa bỏ rào cản đối với đầu tư trong nước và quốc tế trên thị trường, như cải thiện khả năng tiếp cận nguồn tài chính và đơn giản hóa khuôn khổ pháp lý cho các hợp đồng mua bán điện. GIZ cũng hỗ trợ chuyển giao công nghệ giữa các trường đại học Việt Nam và Đức cũng như các công ty tư nhân trong lĩnh vực năng lượng.
Trong lĩnh vực dạy nghề, GIZ hợp tác chặt chẽ với các cơ quan chức năng của Việt Nam để xây dựng và thực hiện các chiến lược, điều kiện pháp lý nhằm nâng cao định hướng nhu cầu và chất lượng giáo dục đào tạo kỹ thuật và dạy nghề (TVET), trong đó tập trung vào hợp tác với doanh nghiệp. ngành. GIZ hỗ trợ các cơ sở TVET tăng cường đào tạo thực hành và cung cấp lao động có trình độ cho một nền kinh tế xanh và bền vững.
Bên cạnh ba lĩnh vực ưu tiên này, GIZ còn hỗ trợ thực hiện Chiến lược tăng trưởng xanh của Việt Nam nhằm thúc đẩy phát triển kinh tế đồng thời đảm bảo tính bền vững về môi trường và xã hội.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a German federal enterprise that has been working in Viet Nam for more than 25 years. GIZ supports the Vietnamese government and people in three priority areas: environment and natural resources, energy, and vocational training.
In the field of environment and natural resources, GIZ helps the Vietnamese authorities to manage protected areas and sustainable forests, including the certification of timbers and the payment for forest-related environmental services. GIZ also assists the Mekong Delta region to adapt to climate change by building wave breakers along the coastline and implementing other measures to prevent erosion and flooding. On the national level, GIZ cooperates with the Vietnamese government to achieve its Nationally Determined Contribution under the Paris Agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
In the field of energy, GIZ promotes renewable energy and energy efficiency in Viet Nam by proposing measures to remove barriers for domestic and international investment in the market, such as improving access to financing and simplifying the legal framework for power purchase agreements. GIZ also supports technology transfer between Vietnamese and German universities and private companies in the energy sector.
In the field of vocational training, GIZ works closely with the Vietnamese authorities to develop and implement strategies and legal conditions to improve the demand-orientation and quality of technical and vocational education and training (TVET), with a focus on the cooperation with the business sector. GIZ supports TVET institutions to enhance their practical training and provide qualified workers for a green and sustainable economy.
Besides these three priority areas, GIZ also supports the implementation of Viet Nam’s Green Growth Strategy, which aims to foster economic development while ensuring environmental and social sustainability.
