Here are some new things in Vung Tau this month:
- New HCMC-Vung Tau ferry service: A new ferry service connecting HCMC’s coastal district Can Gio to the resort town will enter operation this month. The ferry service will depart from Can Gio at 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM daily, and from Vung Tau at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM daily. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The fare is VND100,000 for adults and VND50,000 for children.
- The noodle soup has Saigonese hooked: A new noodle soup dish called “Bún Riêu Cua BRVT” has been taking Saigon by storm. The dish is made with crab, pork, shrimp, and tofu, and it is served in a flavorful broth. It is said to be the best crab noodle soup in Vietnam.
- Ba Ria-Vung Tau to launch hot-air balloon tours: the province will soon launch hot-air balloon tours. The tours will take passengers over the beautiful beaches and mountains of the province. The tours are expected to start in September.
