The inception of Ý Lan’s sand art began serendipitously in 2001 during a visit to Phan Thiết, where she was captivated by the beauty of the sand dunes. Inspired, she collected sand of various colors and experimented with layering them in glass containers, leading to the creation of her first sand paintings.
Over the years, Ý Lan’s dedication and innovation have garnered international recognition. She has been invited to showcase her art at numerous events abroad, including performances in Japan, where she was honored by the mayor for her contributions to cultural exchange.
