Pho Phuong Hoang Sa is a popular restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam specializing in pho, a traditional beef noodle soup. The restaurant has been operating for over 30 years and has won the Bib Gourmand award from the MICHELIN Guide for its good quality and reasonable price. Pho Phuong Hoang Sa is famous for its rich broth, fragrant with cinnamon, star anise, cloves, ginger, shallots and beef. The most popular ingredient here is oxtail, which is braised for 40 hours until the meat is tender and the skin is gelatinous. Customers can also choose different types of beef such as brisket, ribs, tendon or tripe to eat with the noodles. The soup is served with fresh herbs such as sawtooth coriander, basil leaves and rice leaves, and a squeeze of lemon to enhance the flavor. Pho Phuong Hoang Sa is located at 25 Hoang Sa, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, opposite Thi Nghe Canal.
